Today’s blog post comes to you from the beautiful streets of London, Chelsea. As the weather hasn’t been particularly warm recently, I thought this would be the perfect opportunity, to talk about my love for layering knitwear and how it is an essential part of my winter wardrobe. I often find it can be very difficult to dress well in the winter, especially when its bitterly cold outside. One rule I like to follow is wearing thinner more breathable garments close to the skin, and then layering thicker heavier pieces on top, to protect you from the weather. This easily allows you to control your body temperature by adding or removing layers. It can also look amazing when you play with different textures and fabrics, each time you add a piece to your outfit.
The final layer can often be the most important one because its the first thing people see. I love this grey waterfall coat from Zara because its got plenty of room underneath for lots of layers! At only 5″2 I find a lot of coats can look quite overwhelming but this chic wrap silhouette looks really flattering and is super cosy.
